The 1100D I bought used for about 150 EUR without lens and, after about 2 months of intensive use to summarize my opinion as follows:
+ Amazing high speed, up to ISO 6400 - but from ISO 3200 borderline. You have to rotate a little so that it still looks for something in Lightroom already.
+ Small, light, handy
+ Fast tripping (that was my problem with the Fuji X100, what helps me fine image quality when the trigger delay between 0,5 and 1 second makes many images unusable?)
+ Good screen and clear menu's
+ Battery lasts long
+ All important functions are directly or callable in level 1, not like the Nikons in various sub-menu's (example: ISO Auto)
- Picture quality is good, but not great. For the money you can and want to Canon also do magic. So no wonder please wait.
With a good lens (Tip: 40mm 2.8 STM pancake), the camera is always there and makes great pictures.
