This ceiling mount appeared and is the choice of material diecast sufficiently stable and even looks good. Besides, several fittings allow an enormous number of degrees of freedom (except height). Thus, the projector can also be moved even after installation in all directions until you tighten the screws.
Unfortunately, the need for Acer Beamer 3 mm metric screws are not included (only 4 and 5 mm screws) and it must be used by a beamer side lower bulge even more spacers. Both can be found but in the hobby room or the hardware store.
In my resurrected a year ago mount the upper joint was still attached with 2 knurled screws with plastic head. That seemed neither practical for my fingers still sufficiently stable, so I replaced them with metric screws. And I've taken to compensate for the existing column by washers, otherwise would require a high starting torque for a fixation of the joint and die-cast on bending stress now responds times with total failure.
In the current product images one sees now also metric screws with washers, which is certainly the better choice. Again, I would but make sure the diecast not want to bend but rather for 10 cents even one or the other disc to put in between.
