I bought this remote commander to my various devices (TV, Bluray, projector, amplifier and receiver) to control all with one remote. At first I was also excited: The remote control looks wertig and fits comfortably in your hand. The teaching of my Samsung TV and my LG Bluray player were child's play and have super work because the devices are automatically recognized in the Smart mode. Even my Onkyo amplifier was there in Smart Mode and settled program. Here, however, already started the problems: The most important buttons at all, namely to switch the inputs were not occupied. Because I would then have to prove keys manually. That would probably work, but I have first looked after my VU + Receivers. On this receiver (VU + Solo2) the remote is finally failed. The codes were not in the remote control in it and so I had to teach the keys manually. First, I have the on / off button tasted: laid in the instructions remote controls, 3 seconds "magic", and selected 975 "STB". Then press the On / Off button on the universal remote control, and then on the old remote control and then again for 3 seconds "magic". And indeed: The receiver turns off when I press the button. But he no longer goes to press this button, that is only possible with the original. I've noticed that the original FB longer sends to the box concerned. So I programmed the button again and this time held the button down longer and actually the box now also go to again. The arrow keys exactly happened to me the same problem: The Universal-FB detects the length of infrared sequence not richting and sends either always too short a sequence or too long. This button behaves very unpredictable: Sometimes nothing happens and the next time he goes two entries simultaneously high, exactly the same with the down key. I've tried a few times but never caught the right length to push the function always execute exactly once. Conclusion: The FB is good if you want to teach any keys individually, so I can understand the reviews with 4+ stars. On my machine, the Teach but failed grandiose and therefore the remote control goes back again.
