CDs that can be engraved 52x faster than reading, much in dream. That said, all high-speed CD engraved one day pose problems (read error, impossible to read, drive lock ...) so long ago I in severe low speed (4x, 8x when the CD or the recorder permitting) and I welcome that. Are these Verbatims CD will hold the road, then I give you an appointment in a few years for you to share my findings on reliability but I will give you the same advice as given to my relatives: burn with the lowest speed allowed by your hardware and do something else during the time of etching.
