Recently, I exchanged my Topfield PVR against an "open source" PVR (VU + DUO 2). Since the latter is a specialized Linux PC in the ground, it was time to send my old Logitech universal remote control to retire. The concept a "unviersal HUB", a "TV-friendly" keypad and additionally also an app for Android to control that sounded very good. Moreover, the large number of supported devices (including Xbox 360), which was worth a Versuchn. But the attempt ended after 4 hours me it was hitherto not possible my TV (LCD, Orion) to put into operation. The APP had kontinuierich contact the server myHarmony.com, the response time is extremely, the programming can be extremely wish left. It is a question and answer control, similar to the voice control large support center. No menus, no entry points for interim changes etc. This brought me almost to the brink of despair. Give it at least the possibility (with better Steurung) to complete the establishment of the internet, I would have applied more patience and further tested. Now my old Harmony 545 was cleaned, repaired and refurbished. That lasted about 4 hours (3 units) and the best thing about this solution, I can fine-tune everything via PC software. Two stars I give for the keyboard, it has pleased me very well, I would have gladly used.
