In principle it is a good external memory. Great features. But, is still not 8 iOS I have on the iPad iOS 8.1.1 Air. and aud the iPhone 4 iOS 7.1.2. On the iPad, there are problems with creating playlists but not on the iPhone. Well, almost not. But more on that later. When iPad with the 8-system creating playlists funkioniert not. The software crashes. When iPhone with the 7 Series system to do it. But it's really tedious. First, the software needs to load the complete data bank of songs. Then you can select the music tracks you want in the list. With each pass, the software must load the entire list again. This takes. I find the software quite uncomfortable. But, all in all, it works. And, this SSD is a super storage extension for any smartphone or tablet. The connection has worked on the iPad and iPhone without any problems. The WLAN is looped through without problems. I am satisfied so far. And if SanDisk brings a good update of the app there will be 5 star.
Update 01/15/2015 Unfortunately, it comes after the last app update yet on iPad. The problem when creating the playlist is that unlike the iPhone with the older iOS 7 on the iPad with iOS 8 all songs (are with me, the more than 7000) have been selected. It would first remove all tracks from the selection a pain. When iPhone no titles are pre-selected. Here I can select all individually. However, this is not exactly comfortable. What I would hope is that if I could play them directly in the Apple App "music". Then probably Genius would work, I think. What I want to do is: all my music on an external storage medium for me to have. I want to access it via the app, as I use iTunes, but just mobile. Unfortunately this is not because the iOS so can not do. Not even on the iPhone. Too bad. And a cloud (eg iTunes) is not an option, because the amount of data is just too large. Does anyone here have a different idea?
