"... Onkyo devices usually have a warranty period of 2 years, if the unit was purchased from an authorized Onkyo dealer proven.
The warranty is only valid in the country where the unit was purchased to your retailer, or to any Onkyo workshop on presentation of the original invoice document.
Within the warranty period, the procedure is as follows:
Contact for warranty repairs is basically your ONKYO dealer from whom you bought the device.
Alternatively you can contact the repair of your device directly to one of our authorized service center .... "

The unit was immediately returned to Amazon and the appropriate refund was obtained.
Instead Onkyo I have gained me a similar AV receiver from Yamaha, and I hope that is the reliable ...
