The wood of this cage is extremely thin. This is - judging by the strong smell and resin after - presumably some sort softwood (for many rodent thus unsuitable). On the board is only an indication to read "natural, untreated wood" ... very precise.
The individual boards of the sidewalls are so badly put together that many cracks and crevices even after assembly are still in place. Escape proof I call different. Chips coated - In addition, in my case were all items with a silver (metal?). It is possible that remnants of the built-in drawer are. In any case, something no business in a 89-cage.
I leave this cage eventually after two days as a transitional home for my hamster waste disposal. Not only because of the lousy quality, but also because I was aware that such measures are definitely too small for hamsters. It represents for me the question of how one can call a cage with such moderation as "Rodent" when he already has but even for smaller rodents representatives too little space. Due to the superimposed floors not even fit in a species-appropriate wheel.
So just stay away and all that money for a decent cage spend or (as in my case) but rather ultimately rely on homegrown.
