First, what it is:
1) This is a game that was made in collaboration with Matt and Trey (main writers and director of the series South Park) and the quality of their work is reflected perfectly here.
The visuals are fantastic so lon is like lorsquon is watching an episode of South Park. The exploration of South Park is great because they included a number of benchmarks that we have learned to love during the show and you can interact with almost every building. I strongly suggest that you open as many doors as you can, because there may be some interesting surprises ... hehe
. 2) If you are a constant observer of South Park and have seen most of the episodes, and this game will be a treat for you and by many different ways. I found myself constantly having fun exploring every inch of South Park, because there are a ton of references to previous episodes. Some are subtle, such as cd cartman "Faith + 1" which can be found in the drawer of his bedroom, and some are very apparent as the mouse with Mr. Garrison penis attached to her back.
You can really tell how the developers have worked to get souvenirs as much as possible of South Park. All this allows the game to be extremely interesting and not to the exploration of a chore as this is the case with most games
. 3) This is a game which of course should not be taken seriously, but keeps a playful and totally fun character as show's.
Game Mechanisms and quests are relatively simple and feels no frustration with this game (except quest where you have to find small nuggets of Mr. Hanky).
One is pleased with the quality of writing and the amount of customization possible that the game gives you. This is a very beautiful thing about The Stick of Truth; the amount of customization that is possible is phenomenal and much more than I thought. I started with my character with dark hair and a costume.Maintenant he has red hair and flaming red beard with some wonderfully funny originality in the ears. The weapons look great and I have to admit that it remains always original, something that is totally unique in South Park. You can also change your "weapons" (a stick, crutches, an alien probe machine) and they can be up-graded (while also changing their look)
What the game is not:
1) Do not wait for this game that it is a traditional RPG like Final Fantasy or other notable RPGs.
It seems that many people expected this to be a pretty serious RPG that would play like the others.
It's certainly not nest this. As mentioned earlier, this is a light RPG that focuses more on providing an authentic experience South Park rather than being the next Skyrim or Final Fantasy.
2) This does not want a long game that will need 50 hours to complete. I think it takes about 20 hours to complete all the quests and find all the chinpokomon. If you do the main line of play then it will be much shorter.
I strongly suggest to make as many side quests as possible because they are not only great fun, but you have the chance to obtain additional characters that you can avail in fights (except boss fights) like Jesus Christ, Mr. Hanky, Mr. Slave, Tuong Lu Kim, etc.
3) This is not a fantasy game like traditional RPG that you emerge into a world of magic. One of the most humorous things about this game is that you will be constantly reminded by both children and adults of South Park and reminding you that you are playing a game.
Eg children asking "But you nGo not tell me that you play this stupid game? "
I really enjoyed the game. It's a game that does justice to South Park and the fans of the series will really enjoy.
That said, if you're not really a fan of South Park or have only seen a few episodes, this might be a little harder to appreciate that you could not understand a lot of references and hidden items that arise in connection with the game.
