at the USB 3.0 socket (blue marking in the bush)
I have a speed of over 100MB / s.

Just plug it in the hard drive and off you go.
Have 250MB transferred jiffy, no heat problems of the hard drive.
Very slightly warmed, but that's probably normal.

Just as a USB hard drive via the Sick icon in the Windows toolbar
Eject or unsubscribe with right click.

Have an Acer XC600, w8 as processing.

Good hard drive - Toshiba 3.0 - 1000MB - hope she remains intact.
