I do not want to talk about reading and writing speeds here. I have outsourced my iTunes library on the JetDrive and works just fine. Clearly the card is slower than the integrated SSD in my MacBook Pro and video projects, games or the like because it does not belong. Unfortunately, the card with exFAT formatted. That makes sense in normal memory cards though, but that might only be used on JetDrive MacBook. At least OSX Mavericks has considerable problems with the exFAT format. Spotlight constantly trying to index, but is still lagging and robbed noticeably resources of the computer. One can now easily exclude the JetDrive of Spotlight, making MMN no sense, or to format the memory with Mac OS Extended and all problems are eliminated. Because of the unfavorable formatting only four stars because the JetDrive is not intended as a removable disk rather than permanent storage expansion, and whether any Mac user is aware of the problem with the formatting I doubt (that's not meant disparagingly).
