In addition, the sleeves are backward about 5 mm longer than the eigenliche plug. This is positive, if the cores of the cable slightly protrude beyond the plug (reduce the short circuit risk).
The sleeves do not provide strain relief for the wires in the connectors are screwed but twice. That should be enough.
One thing you should know though! Quote Yamaha Support from the website: "The use of banana plugs for speakers connected to an amplifier is in Europe not allowed Therefore the speaker terminals on our devices for the use of banana plugs are not provided.."
I do not know why this is so, because in my opinion is the risk of short circuits with plugs with tight low-lying fastening wesenlich.
But it went anyway. In the rear screw stuck only cover small (about 4 mm deep) behind which the sockets for banana plugs are hidden, eg clearly visible in the rear view of the Yamaha RX-V 771 7.2 AV receiver. These covers have a small hole in the middle again. If you get there a bit wooden screw purely revolves so far that it takes something that you can simply pull out the cover. And then the way is clear for the banana plugs.
Conclusion ... The Nakamichi plugs are a good choice ... but to be connected to amplifiers or receivers should check in advance whether this is also feasible.
