I have my terminal bought mainly for making every now and then shots of quad rides. The first ever proper and longer sample was in a motorcade around the Nordschleife. I have the clip attached to the front bumper. Have only made a few trial runs to make sure that it (about 16 mm Ø) really holds even in this very smooth and very slightly tapered round material. Result: (or the camera used to it) has survived the Nürburgring heal. I have to say I'm really impressed with how quiet the image has become, although over there indeed produced the suspension considerable vibrations. I have used a camcorder with a weight of about 400g. The maximum clamps opening is across the supporting surface approximately 33 mm and in the notched in the middle of the field about 37 mm. For me, this loose enough, but I admit that a corresponding manufacturer's instructions in advance would have been quite interesting.
I have with the issues raised by another customer spherical head no problem, on the contrary: It is very flexible and in any position you can tighten the camera securely.
So overall: Great tools, and the processing looks also very good!
Supplement for less than a year: Still one can cling all cameras with corresponding threaded holes bombenfest to almost all parts. Also, the above-mentioned ball head makes no problems at all - so definitely worth investing!
