I needed a small computer to connect to my TV to watch my holiday photographs, films and to review programs in replay (on Pluzz example). I had a computer mounted in a housing barebone larger than a shoe box, but each time use the weight of the machine, its size, cables ... made me recoil. And after he had put it away ... I ordered this tiny computer instead. It is really tiny (in fact, the external power supply increases the total volume, but it is far, it does not notice). On my monitor, the picture is the size of the original. Adding an SSD 128GB and 4GB of DDR3 memory is done in a jiffy. It is within the reach of a child. Then it is installing Windows 8 Pro for an ugly self-powered external drive (purchased for a notebook). All drivers are installed without any problems. The update for Windows 8.1 is going very well. Wifi easily catches the Box to the floor above. I get a very responsive system that plays almost all audio and video formats using free programs (VLC and MPC-HC) as well as in low resolution (1920 x 1080). In video playback or replay ventilation is virtually inaudible. The only limitation is the number of USB ports: two USB 3 rapids. So I plugged into the rear self-powered hard disk containing the film and on the front USB Receiver to control the PC using a wireless keyboard / trackpad. This gives a very practical system to assemble, disassemble and use as mediacenter. We must connect it to an HDTV or ensure that the monitor has an HDMI ... A very useful purchase.
