works for Win8

Bin for several years satisfied users of Norton Ghost (gave me several times saved my system) - only Symantec is unfortunately unable to offer a solution for Win8. The Win8 own security is still too slow, ressourcenfressend and acts unreliable. Have therefore as an alternative to my multi-boot system (XP_32, 7_64, 8_64) installed the trial version of Acronis 2013 and experimented particularly in the current transition phase on Win8 much with the recovery - so far without errors.

Since I install a lot of games, the computer tune and bars, but still a lot of valuable data on private computers have is a reliable backup - solution for me is a must; I have therefore already in the computer internal 2TB only run with Backup (RAID I use not for performance reasons), via LAN I back then again regularly on a LaCie in a network (other room). A general security in the cloud is not an issue for me (you can counter the otherwise Reviews in Acronis stop), the pictures are compressed but anyway still on MS Skydrive, the music still goes on in addition on I-Tunes match.

What better than me at Ghost likes to Acronis:

The Nonstop Backup of C (in 10min. Intervals, do not need much space and hardly any resources)

the option that you can also boot without Emergency Disk (= additional safety, often we find then, if necessary, the CD does not)

The incremental backups are relatively fast and need very little space

Have until now with Acronis feel good because it runs perfectly under Win8, I can only recommend and will solve a license.
