I needed this Halogen bulbs capsule for a cooker hood (Siemens) there are two such lights are installed backward, one went to 3 years broken (or had a wobbler). So now I have the broken old (20 watts) is removed and installed this new 10 watt and can hardly notice a difference to the still functioning 20 Watt lamp. So hand me since the 10 watts completely and if the other breaks down, I have with this package replacement and will also replace.
the pin base is stable and can be installed well - which does not change the pfriemeligen lamp with glass lid and metal ring, which cost me a lot more nervous at this rather awkwardly accessible location.
That means: Old lamp out, fits in perfectly new and the light is also convenient.
If these lamps go ever broken, the LED technology will hopefully times as far, that you get adequate light output with 1 watt, then hopefully start saving power, because once my nervous saving is more important than to experiment with unreliable LEDs ,
