Because of your detailed reviews I have found my previously purchased "UE Boom" box from Logitech in question and can compete in direct comparison with the Envaya Mini.
The above two reviews is nothing more to add. One can hardly do better.
But I would like to explain at least have my 5 stars for the Envaya Mini:
At first I thought that the "UE Boom" is a panacea for me.
However, I noticed that my short time lacked volume keys or knob. So far all of my speakers (z. B. from Raikko) had this handy feature. And since my Samsung Alpha not too high output volume (via Bluetooth, etc.) has, it bugged me enormously after some time that the boom box so "quietly" aufspielte.
I had -after the effusive reviews hereby expected a little more volume and pressure of the UE Boom. While the 360-degree listening pleasure was actually very good, so I realized the usefulness of the eye for hanging up immediately, however, convinced me of the sound and the volume does not completely. The 360-degree argument was me from the outset not as important as the sound and the highest distortion-volume.
Since I had bought an offer here at Amazon for 130 Euro, I wanted to also in the absence of adequate alternatives (suitable for outdoor use they had to be, so no BOSE - device) is not frivolous separate from her.
Well, until I stumbled upon the DENON Envaya Mini. Even her appearance I found immediately appealing. (I have the black and blue version)
After reading the reviews, I was convinced and ordered it. Here is my pro-List (Contra there is not):
+ Great and robust design (it is slimmer than the UE boom and can be laid down and the boom is or depends only)
+ Good splash protection for the loading and AUX jack
+ Rubberized feet (in the black caps integrated at the head ends)
+ Volume control (also for controlling the tracklist: forward and backward)
+ Charge status indicator (color LED that can be checked if necessary by separate knob; so disturbs no additional light)
+ Bluetooth connection is established rapidly and completely uncomplicated
+ Legendary sound, very good maximum volume (without clipping)
+ On my dresser (as a resonance chamber) below the television in the bedroom, inter alia, serves me as Soundbar (has my flat screen TVs no better speakers)
+ Long and stable life (she is not silent, but simply goes out if there is not enough voltage is available)
+ Very good value for money (especially in Verlgeich with Logitech and Bose)
This should be an initial assessment of the product. I'll nachberichten in a few months and maybe prove the value of the mileage with concrete figures.
But one thing is certain:
Those looking is who was making a detour to the perhaps more striking advertised competitors Logitech and Bose. But this piece of technology lets your audiophile heart actually beat.
And the everyday utility is undisputed high. I'm looking forward to the spring and summer with this box. Because there will be a welcome companion in my backpack or my bicycle bag.
EDIT (20/01/2015): How has kindly pointed out to me, having the UE Boom Box Logitech BUT volume keys. I had been well-shod only slightly with blindness, as I had at home they. Accordingly, I want you my aforementioned diesbzgl criticism. ignored at the UE Boom.
Notwithstanding the fact that the UE Boom perhaps louder than the Envaya Mini, I was not convinced at the same volume from the sound of the UE boom in direct comparison.
