The mask is due to the high filtration efficiency relatively thick and stiff. The aluminum bracket is to ensure the fit on the nose is much too unstable and clearly undersized for this mask. For me, the thing turns on again and the mask pulls on the paranasal air. After much fumbling it goes though somehow, but I've had masks from 3M, which are as much better, unfortunately also more expensive. Otherwise, the mask served its purpose.
