Yes, the headphones extremely noise, so a star deduction
BUT
is described in the Bedienugsanleitung, this noise is by increasing the volume at the source in my opinion sufficiently eliminate (which is certainly very subjective but it's definitely perceive no annoying background noise more).

For the money, definitely a good choice.
