The build quality is okay so far, the plastic buttons on the side, however, are used to. After a few days I noticed that the rocker is not working properly and had the first Xperia L return directly again. With the rapid replacement by Amazon now everything seems to be fine once. The side buttons could be however better serve the Xperia P and made a higher quality impression. Due to the oblique arrangement, they are also more difficult to use. Fiddly possibly being the right word.
Most disappointed me the display - in normal daylight is much harder to detect than the Xperia P. For this purpose, there is one point less in the evaluation. Otherwise, the phone is very comfortable to hold, even through the slightly curved shape. The LED on the bottom is in my opinion a more significant improvement in contrast to the Xperia P and very visible. Was also a reason to buy for me as I find ongoing, acoustic signals disturbing.
Deserves commendation because the charger so that the mobile phone in an instant recharges. For me it takes about 60 minutes to full battery. A protective film is also included - the Xperia P, this was at the factory on it. Likewise, two SmartTags included. The idea is good, but these can be use / scan only unlocked screen. This is with regard to safety, although good and understandable, but for me then useless. The touch screen of the Xperia L responds quickly, the operation itself is very fluid. I like good and is a significant improvement.
What I do not understand: why does this phone now again a normal SIM card? The Xperia P needed a micro-SIM, now I needed again a normal map. Total annoying, especially because Sony mitliefert an adapter (which does so on the help pages of Sony stand ...).
Conclusion: apart from a few criticisms and problems with the first device I am satisfied so far. Those looking for a mid-range smartphone and
