The adapter has worked out great and is right when (in my case, the HD6850) already operates two monitors on an ATI graphics card via DVI and want to connect a third monitor via DVI. The monitor will be detected immediately. In Catalyst Control Center can be set up more options, if you want. Work and play in Eyefinity mode is possible.
The adapter is a single-link adapter. Another adaptation to VGA is possible with this adapter NOT.
