The tape is theoretically easy to fix since it is self-adhesive, but you must choose a flat surface so that it adheres well. Once in place, it activates all with the remote but it needs to be close enough to the receiver to work. In my room, it works to 4 meters without obstacle. You really have to point the remote control to the receiver. Note that the remote control battery is included and must remove a small tab for it to work unpacking (prevents it wears unnecessarily).
Using it, you can turn on or off the garland. The brightness can also be adjusted with more or less buttons. Then you can choose a lot of programs that scroll more or less quickly the LEDs according to their choice (it will strobe frankly sting the eyes to something very soft). The LEDs change color and you can choose to turn in a 3 (red, blue or green) or 2 or 3. So you can choose the brightness between something that will flash a blue or pale dim light well for example. Color games are so only on the basis of these three colors even if it seems that there are so many more lighting influences the perception (the red led in some cases looks pink and orange in to others).
In the end, we take a very good decorative ribbon that can be used indoors and outdoors as it is certified IP65 (resistant to outside normal) but it will however protect the transformer. I doubt that the glue takes a long time outside in against. Its lifetime is given 50,000 hours, which ensures many years of use.
Goodies: - Fully Adjustable brightness with the remote control for an eyeful or conversely a more subdued atmosphere - Game of light and very good programs
Cons: - Green LED lit continuously on the transformer - Remote a bit temperamental - Quality of the adhesive (if the wall is a little rough, it sticks very badly)
