I have the receiver since February 2010 at the operation and had then
the receiver advance.
Given the many negative reviews I can only imagine
the subsequent models have problems with the quality assurance.
Too bad I'm still with the model very satisfied.
Unpacking:
The receiver makes a good impression processing
HDMI cable is in the standard supply.
Similarly, the HD + card (Infected with me already in the receiver).
The manual is really good, clearly and comprehensively, the receiver will be explained.
The manual has 181 pages A4 format and only in German.
Initial start-up:
By Auto Install feature the instalation is finished quickly.
Should order to achieve an optimum result, the image, the sound and the
Color to be adapted to the TV which does very well in the manual
will be described.
The normal and HD image are very good.
The sound is properly via the optical output I have to the receiver
connected my amplifier which perfectly worked and I to 5.1
Was able to experience sound.
The switching times are acceptable since I do not switch back and forth so much for me.
The software is mature not crashed or Tonverzögerungen.
I particularly enjoyed the 16-digit segment display where the program name is shown
especially useful for radio via an external amplifier.
In operation the unit handwarm.
No pipes or other in operation as in many other receivers.
PVR function.
I have with me the Seagate FreeAgent Go external hard drive ST903203FAD2E1-RK 320GB HDD, 6.4 cm (2.5 inches), USB 2.0 connected.
The hard drive has been recommended in various forums since the drive only has a very low power consumption and can be perfectly connected to the USB port.
I had with me again reformat the hard drive from the receiver can then had a
Error-free operation is possible.
The receiver please the opportunity to leave the PVR function test with the hard disk
which then also works without hesitation.
Programming the recording is not a problem which is also well described in the manual.
