The batteries were preloaded. They seem to work well. I have not even charge because they take much time. I ordered 3 pack. The 3 packs were 2600mAh instead of 2500mAh as advertised in the description, but many Varta. Personally it does not bother me as they will be the most successful coup in duration than 2500mAh.
