Works but whimpers.

The charger works as expected and comes in a beautifully designed package home. I particularly appreciate that the charger itself still does not have a mains plug, but everything is integrated in a small device. However, the charger whimpers while the unit softly, but permanently, which is very annoying quickly, when it is operated on the desk. Visually, the charger has minimal deviations: the gray has more red than blue color pigments, making it a less beautiful reddish gray.

Long version:
I have the charger for my smartphone and tablet developer units ordered since they permanently require electricity during development. The charger therefore is always with me on the desk, easily hidden under my support for all devices.

The charger arrived in a beautifully designed package. Very attractive! It has a color rötlicheres gray, which gives the whole operation does not bother (it only looks as if it came from a smoking household). This can, however, also come from the flame retardant, which is usually contained in plastic.

Unwrapped, plugged, tried: works. All USB ports can be used to your heart's content from any devices. Ie: exactly what I wanted and needed! Finally you have to give any thought to which cable must now hang the tablet. Very beautiful!

Only there's a catch - and in my opinion is an absurdity: the charger whimpers - and consistently in an uncomfortable pitch. This could come from the coil has to work quite a bit with 5 devices. Does, however, for me: Plug out the desk operation - and that's not really what I wanted. Use or headphones ....

All in all - not bad, but I do not know how long I can ignore the buzzing.

EDIT: I've played around a bit with the plugs. It seems to be so that the combination produced (1 battery on your device, 1 be loaded device) with me the cheeping.

EDIT 2: One hour after I wrote this review, the manufacturer has reported independently with me via email. Now that is courteous customer service! Mir is a replacement unit sent - at no extra charge, without gimmicks. Hopefully without squeaking. I'll adjust the review again once I have the power. :-)

EDIT 3: Today I receive the replacement device (the day before yesterday I have written with the support!) And this unfortunately also whimpers. I have it once made an audio recording and added to the review. The buzzing is not tied to a particular USB port incidentally. I have the support anchor again informed.
