In principle, the JVC KD-R721BT support all these features, the facts listed below but would like to know in advance and mention here times for other interested parties:
- The supplied ISO cable already supports the exchange of switching Plus and permanent positive (eg needed for Opel)
- Unit has a DIN antenna jack, I needed following antenna adapter Hama Antenna Adapter Antenna Plug DIN - Antenna coupling ISO
- IPhone and radio link via Bluetooth, about audio streaming (music and navigation announcements) and telephony is possible without additional wiring
- The radio has no classical Play / Pause / Stop buttons, I think it's silly to begin playback of the Bluetooth mode with the "Menu" button
- Bluetooth audio playback of music iPhone does not support Pause / Stop - that I really miss what JVC was thinking
- The radio emits a high frequency tone which is indeed overlaid with normal music operation but somehow disturbs
==> But can be shut off by suitable dimmer setting
- Full support of iPhone / iPod only when wiring with a USB port of the radio possible - unfortunately that does not work in conjunction with my Tom Mount
- The display a lot of information is displayed, for which there is no explanation in the manual
- The unit is the well-known mobile-noise again, not loud but audible - which may not be at an operational design especially for telephone applications device
As I said, the car radio is inexpensive, works in principle as described above but with prior knowledge of these weaknesses I might have resorted to something else.
