In order to assess:
After my Philips SHE8005 (not SHE8005 / 00 Philips) have suffered a broken cable on the plug after about almost 3.5 years, replacement was needed. When traveling, I use now predominantly On-Ears (with microphone) by Marshall. But since I do not always want to carry around, I also need an in-ear headset, as were the SHE8005 also. The name by which SHE7005A / 00 are obviously the "little brothers" and therefore, although I have a little less quality expected (yes they cost even half) but I am still disappointed:
- The cable feel very soft and have the kinks, which they have suffered in the package underwritten
- The microphone is between the Y-switch and the earphone, but the cable between the Y-switch and microphone is much thicker than between earphone and microphone
In addition to purely optical nitty gritty now for Sound
- The sound is very much treble
- Basses are more likely therefore in the form of noise, so are not clear yet noticeably audible
- In general, I find that the sound is not as "perfect" sound, but rather tinny and dull, both rock, and in House
The second star they have received as they are processed good for the price. But that alone is not an argument to keep them. So I will send them back and have to bite the bullet and buy another, more expensive model. Since the Philips SHE9005 / 00 are currently cheaper than the Philips SHE8005 / 00, I'll probably dare to try and let them hopefully.
Another note to everyone who rate poorly because here the sound is supposed to be so bad and it only gets better when you press the button, sticks or whatever: Read the manual! And if you did not do that clever, then please calls to Philips! The headphones are not to blame, that it does not go, but the manufacturers who do not agree among themselves. And just Philips strives to resolve this situation. If in doubt, you get an adapter with which the problem is solved. The SHE8005 this was even factory here:
