Have bought the radio for the basement workshop. I had already tried a few radios - and has not been wirklch satisfied - in most cases, the reception was just bad (even with a world receiver for about 40). The transmitter had to be repeatedly adjusted etc. In this Radio I am very pleasantly surprised - the reception is as I expect it from a radio - clean, clear, the regional station can be received without problems (no noise, no adjustment after 1 hour). Simply wonderful - once set and it works! The sound is very good (had first concerns as 0.77 watts does not sound like much - but it is thanks to the 10cm speaker and the power is expressed in RMS - so it's then not a fantasy figure - like PMPO-power). The feel is very good - there are only three controls available - and a color display (current operating state: OFF, FM or AM is being received) - but all very well / well made. The knob is comfortable to turn - with slight resistance - so that you can also search 'frequency for frequency' areas. Sound reproduction very clean and quite tired. The extendable antenna is about 60 cm long - so compared to my old Weltempfänger longer by about 10. The Baterriedeckel is not so easy to get lost, because it is attached to the housing. The power supply is integrated - by the radio's harder lot than I had before (which had no power supply) - but do not bother me, because the radio is not being worn. It is even very nice, because no additional power supply the power strips blocked (when things get there somewhere). I have so far with batteries (4xAA, eneloop, the black with 2500mAh minimum capacity) operated for about 12-16 hours (approximately 10% of full volume) and it is still running - so the radio will pretty frugal with electricity , My expectation was at the Radio 100% strength met: reception quality, sound quality and workmanship are great for that price.
