Instructions for the use of 2x Twin is not attached. On the multi-switch 4 inputs are marked:
LNB A 13V / 0 Hz - LNB B 18V / 0 Hz - LNB C 13V / 22 kHz - LNB D 18V / 22kHz
Thus, would only (at 2x twin) the positions at
1.Twin LNB (LNB A LNB-B): Vertical / Horizontal (13 / 18V) in the low band (toneburst, 22 kHz)
or
2.Twin LNB (LNB C, LNB D): Vertical / Horizontal (13 / 18V) in the high band (toneburst, 22 kHz)
possible.
A request from Vivanco (Ahrensburg), as the two Twin to be connected and which DiseqC commands would be needed to achieve the desired IF signals remained unanswered at first!
This request for VIVANCO was not until the third attempt (2x email, fax 1x) answered insufficient or deficient as follows:
Dear Mr H.,
Selection SAT IF: Vertical 14V / Horizontal 18 V and 22 kHz burst
Yours sincerely,
Jörn I. / Vivanco Service Team
With this statement, I could do nothing: as I reach the IF levels LOW / HIGH in each twin LNB if I ansteuere the SAT position either with 0 kHz or 22 kHz?
Also in the DiSEqC 1.1 mode remained from a success if the DiSEqC command was repeated 1.2 or 3x.
Conclusion: the description that 2x twin LNB necessary presumably refers only to old twin LNB (analog), which at that time used only vertical / horizontal.
However, since in the meantime (for years) via Toneburst between the upper frequency range (High Band, 22 kHz) from 11.70 to 12.75 GHz and lower frequency range (low band, 0 kHz) from 10.70 to 11.70 GHz is switched, are accessible on 2 satellites (Astra, Hotbird example) not all the channels.
FOR TWIN-LNB is this multi-switch mE therefore rather unsuitable. The unit returns.
ONE STAR only because the device (albeit insufficient) works, but at least the service and very fast delivery from Amazon convinced.
