On the subject of halos:
On delivery, the monitor on unbearable 90% brightness was set, and in this setting minimum irregularities were recognizable on the sides. For daily work but enough 40% brightness, and then the picture is perfectly smooth.
For Screen Size:
I would never buy a smaller monitor, because even for simple text processing the display of 2 DIN A4 pages side by side plus space for tool boxes is a real advantage. Working with large spreadsheets is much easier. Photos can be viewed and edit more easily (space for tool boxes!).
Another note for delivery by Amazon:
I experience more often that products "only for international shipments" are offered, which is very annoying and objectively comprehensible. A professional mail order company like Amazon should really deal with the EU's internal market. I can not imagine the Amazon similarly buy braking behaves in the US, and for example, customers in NY shipments from LA excludes me.
Even in the case of my monitor I could use Amazon.com again just as valuable Informationsbibliotek, and then had to find a local to me on Google, where I could not only look at the unit but also acquire inexpensive
