The Horse's Mouth. As I said a comparison device SoundLink were mini and Sony X3. The SoundLink mini is notorious for its very powerful bass and restrained highs, while Sony delivers X3 rich bass combined with beautiful midrange and treble-present.

In the bass the SoundLink Colour is much more restrained than the Mini. Similarly balanced here as the X3, only with a little less height so the first impression.
Also, the radiation and the spatiality of the SoundLink Colours like it. The former is the color much better than the SoundLink mini because it is much less addressed and also from the left, right, very good to listen up and down is (again a step towards Sony X3), the latter more is still good, but in particular some Distance is one not quite as good as the SoundLink mini (the X3 loses similar to the SoundLink Colour distanced heard against the SoundLink mini).
