Love at first sight? 3

A few months ago I ordered after ample consideration, the Cherry MX Board 3.0. As a software developer, I would describe myself as a prolific writer, this keyboard comes especially in my home to use. Ie mainly it is to chat and "gamble" used. Here countless keystrokes come together on the day. So much in advance for use of the keyboard.

Positives:

- Good writing experience (without deterioration or improvement)
- Pleasant key height for switching from "high" or "flat" design
- Pleasant play on the keyboard, which is due to the key construction
- Nice sound buttons for Nerds
- Cheap price
- Red-MX (from the second stage earlier pleasant to gamble)
Very nice visually simple and therefore for me -
- With the feet folded so slippery that you can thus move the table
- Easy to read for Klischeenerds key labeling
-Abnehmbares Cable toll se

Negatives:

- Cable in the middle quite badly placed when they have something in front of the keyboard
- Cable mieserabel stiff but resilient (compromise) (Due to the poor placement, the rigid cable falls very negatively on)
- No palm rest in delivery (highly recommended at such a high key)
- Defective mini USB slot after about 4 months and therefore unusable keyboard (one probably Monday model, but definitely a weak point.
- Lack of media buttons like "Play", "Stop" (I miss them but already, but that was clear, so it does not flow into the evaluation but serves only to mention for people who are unsure whether they can waive)
- Unfolded feet click in, if you push the keyboard slightly to the left or right (due to that they can be folded out to the left and right)
- A cable duct under the keyboard would have been nice (not integrated into the assessment a)

Conclusion: The question I ask myself: if I had bought myself with this experience again?

Good keys are great, they can be written well and play on. The price is low, the keyboard quite stable but no board. But contrast, especially speaking, the average placement of the connector. At first I thought that this was no problem. Due to the rigid cable in combination with the socket + Something front of the keyboard, these can however quickly and there is a loose connection. (The stiff cable protrudes well 3 cm forward from the keyboard out). That's bad for me at least. In addition, I really lack these stupid media keys. Now the label I could undergo yet no long-term test, but as you surely help other recessions. If I'm going to buy a new keyboard, then it will be another, and I will, this time pay attention to media keys and the proper cable placement. The ability of the keyboard to take out the cable, however, turned out to be practical especially if you need desk space.

So buy again?

Jain. For the price (for mechanical keyboards very well). If the cable is placed correctly and still give it media buttons, it would be top. Decide for yourself whether you can live with the expressed criticisms for me this keyboard is great but the weaknesses are not so good for my situation.
