I really appreciate:
- That the implementation does not require the RJ45 cable provided with, or a PC elsewhere. All settings are done in Wi-Fi network, so you can set it from a phone, for example (from a web browser).
- That WISP hotspot function works perfectly, it connects to the Wi-Fi in hotel (possibly by cloning the MAC address of the PC) and its own secure network is created behind Wi-Fi for all its gadgets (iPhone, iPad, Android, PC, ...).
- That works well with Chromecast
- It has a hard slider on the side to select the mode
It can also be used at home as a repeater to amplify the wireless signal. I have no 3G key 3G function is therefore more that I have not exploited. I have not tested the router function (Ethernet cable to the router), but it should not be a surprise.
Only small downside, the mini USB connector, pity it is not a USB mic that is the current standard, this is a cable to have in his collection.
I tried the Asus WL-330N, the Asus WL-330NUL and TP Link TL-WR702N, but for me it is the TP-Link TL-MR3020 is best for my use.
