Lizzy Gardner is a private detective who lives with an FBI agent. Normally it has routine cases. As it is, however, seeks out a couple things differently. The woman is murdered in a bestial way, the man is then accused of murder. But Lizzy can not believe this. It turns out that someone has kidnapped lovers and murdered them.
The writing style is truly captivating. Each chapter starts with a quote from a famous serial killer. However, the book as a whole does not work as intended. Namely, it is divided into relatively short scenes. Man jumps in time, has a number of un / important characters.
Since each character has its own story and there are a large number of important scenes, Lizzy's story is somewhat pushed into the background.
