This USB sound card (2.0, backward compatible 1.1) shows that it is compatible with Window and Linux: it is !!

Plugged into a motherboard Z97 and ALC1150 audio chipset (known to not work well in Linux).
After all opinions concerning fragility, I plugged into a USB longer and it is immediately recognized, not even to wait a message on the screen.

Connecting my Logitech Z2300 which I know well the record and have already been connected to many sound cards: perfected. Adopted!

Edit the 3-12-14 .... BUT it loses response after 12hrs of loyal services! Always on, tested on several machines, nothing comes out. Wrong number ??
