I bought this device for use in our home as a Christmas present.
The building itself was very easy because no hardware is available, the erfodern nervendes screws. The biggest difficulty that existed to deal with was to find a suitable place.
The product is relatively large - but that's not meant to be negative. For the storage space for the cut paper must be able to offer more than just 10 pages "shredded". How many can fit A4 pages accurately without the container must be emptied, I have not yet tested.
I especially like the simple and automatic detection of the paper, which is pushed into the corridor. In our previous one had here with the document a little "stir around" so that the detection then finally understood that there is work and have to govern the rollers. The PS 24 CCD reacts much more sensitive here.
The soundscape is also to bear. The only thing that almost stopped me to forgive the full number of stars is the paper tray. The pages are not just moved, so there is no straight cut occurs and it sometimes looks as if the document had been attacked by a dog. But honestly: The documents come in the "shredder", so that they no longer exist for posterity - interested> wen there, whether it is done by a straight cut, or whether the stripes have kinks? Exactly: Nobody.
Very nice is also that media carriers such as CDs, DVDs and BluRay discs are easily destroyed with this device. Although it sounds as if you were throwing a pack batteries in a blender, but the result is a slice cut into strips, the drive can be read by any more, so that one has conveyed its reliable data to the afterlife. For this purpose there is a second corridor, with slightly stronger knives. Please do not try to force the CD through the paper slot - which could lead to complications, hehe.
Thanks to its modern and timeless appearance of the shredder is welcome in every household and not a nuisance. Anyway, that's my assessment.
The only thing I would wish for me, would be a window on the side, so you can see how much space is still around and that the unit is not in operation Fascinating country ceases to operate, because the container is full. But this is not a tragedy.
Also worth mentioning is that the plastics and paper remains are collected in separate containers. Thus, the waste separation is saved.
As a result: A great device for a reasonable price, where there is nothing to complain about, except for a few (quite stuffy) little things that do not diminish the quality of the product.
