Technically Belo is well equipped. 8 GB flash memory, 1 GB of RAM and a quad-core Cortex-A7 processor (1.3 GHz) with a 500 MHz clocked graphics unit. There is a 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash on the back.
The existing Android 4.4.2 LG is adjusted each other.
The device can be woken up via PIN code or fixed gesture on the touchscreen from sleep mode. The quality of the touch screen is also good in the corners of the call function buttons are reliably detected. Entries are made using a well-configurable keyboard, the paid replacement m. E. make unnecessary.
The voice quality of the device is good but not quite as good as my still higher-priced Sony Z1. The output via speakers is ok. With strong background noise in the car hands-free quality is satisfactory.
The wireless receiver of the device is good and sufficient in my ground floor apartment to the basement inside. GPS works good to very good and therefore better than with my Navi Becker.
The image and video display is good, remains high but also behind that of the Z1 back. Games run mainly liquid but with not quite as high resolution (854x480px). The colors are sometimes a bit pale, but not annoying.
The camera provides good lighting conditions good to very good pictures. Weaker light must be early brightened by the LED flash, otherwise the quality of the images suffers noticeably. For the price range, I feel the camera but as a more than decent.
A disadvantage of the device: LTE capability is not available. Another and much larger for me gripe is the rather moderate battery power, the (8-9 hours) narrowly survives the working day with regular use. Longer rides with video or gaming use are no external power source is not possible (about 5 hours operation).
Looking at the price you get a fair value to the Belo from LG. Much of the phone is really good and what is not like, at least in parts alone owed the price range. The very low resolution for a 5-inch device is a blemish, the LG should reconsider.
