Recently, I use an Ultrabook, which due to the low overall height has no LAN connection more. Alternatively, there is indeed a very fast Wi-Fi adapter (AC-Standard), I but absence of an appropriate router may not be extended. In this respect, I was forced to find an alternative solution over USB 3.0 in order to transmit larger amounts of data (video files) to and from my NAS per GB-LAN can. Replacing the router, by the way was not an option because firstly expensive and secondly WLAN is me not stable enough. In summary, I can only say that the speed is phönomenal. I have consistently transfer rates of> = 100 MB, the (30 GB file, for example) does not break off even through the longest transfers. Can therefore unreservedly recommend the adapter.
