The Birkenstock footbed is (as usual) very comfortable, thick, and well suited to the foot. The straps evoke plastic and are quite rigid. I guess she is not very comfortable, but my kids did not complain in. They are "off-white". They cut big (I took down a size and it was just fine). I do not know why the description says "girl sandals!" It's very neutral, instead, and I bought a pair for my son too.
