Keyboard not only for nostalgics

I know even the good old IBM or PC keyboard was my childhood. These things were (relatively) hard, virtually indestructible and offered a very good writing feel. Until last year I had no use for an external keyboard, since I had only a notebook. When my notebook after graduation then had its day I bought a desktop PC. Since I as a software developer tap comparatively much do I have donated to me ultimately this keyboard. After about two months now testing I came to the following conclusions:

++++ Quality ++++
Now I have not thrown the keyboard to the ground and trampled on rum, but it works very stable and quite high (which I also ask for the price). On the back you can stick the supplied slip backups of Cherry so that the maintenance of the keyboard is ensured. However, this is only necessary for very smooth surfaces (glass table).

++++ Function keys ++++
There are on this keyboard only 4 function keys, what me however completely sufficient. On these 4 keys 5 functions are available: volume up / down, Mute, Home button and (very interesting for gamers) off the Windows keys on CTRL + HOME function key. There are LEDs on it CapsLock, NUM and the two Windows keys.

++++ Writing sensation ++++
I personally feel transported back to 'Old Time Good' in the. The keystroke is perfect and you feel that puts a mechanism (Gold Crosspoint contacts) behind each key.

++++ In the game ++++
The feeling is similar to fingerprints. I also think that these keys wear out less quickly. Every gamer knows the wear of WSAD ... but As for the simultaneous pressing of 14 keys at once, I must add my voice to the other reviews: This is a marketing lie! Maximum 'only' 6 keys are possible! This 6 pass me but from fully.

++++ ++++ Conclusion
One of the best purchases of the year. I would recommend this keyboard to anyone who need a great deal tap on the PC (either playing or work-related). For all other makes little sense.

PS: Not compatible with USB -> PS2 adapters!
