So the facilities are absolutely amazing, 95 menu items - unglaulich but true. Quite frankly, there are just too many settings, even for a "ambitious" photographer. Unfortunately, the menu is thus also true "nested", you have to watch where you set what genuine, less is sometimes more :)
According to the test report (s), the image quality should (even slightly better in the detail resolution) with the Nikon D7100 be almost identical (standard lens 18-55mm VR II new model). I can not confirm clearly the D7100 provides a significantly better quality, even the G7x is better / sharper up to and including ISO 400 - yes really! This is probably because the G7x has a top lens with a very high light sensitivity of 1.8-2.8 (24mm-100mm) and a "large" (1-inch) sensor. When you zoom-in the photographs, one can very well the difference in quality, particularly in terms of sharpness recognize. Oh sorry, I forgot to mention that I only in the 3: 2 mode've photographed, I like the 4: 3 mode not. The 20MP of G7x are then not to be sneezed at, let alone the 24 MP of D7100 (subject enlarged).
The build quality is really good, the camera is very comfortable to hold and can be operated very well. The image transfer to app works great, and the app is exemplary bez. Settings - class.
What has annoyed me really is that the camera makes significant noise during operation, insbsondere when the image stabilizer works, sorry it did not work.
Too bad, really bad! Since you can see what reviews (laboratory conditions) really testify again. The reality, then it usually significantly different. The Olympus will probably not replace my D7100 (wanted to buy myself a smaller camera but provides a minimum ident Siche image quality).
