The HAM should after 4 years in the "apple world" replace the existing equipment.
Previously I used an iPhone and an iPad.
The iPhone I used mainly for calls and messenging (phone is indeed not with the iPad always) and the iPad for e-mails and Internet searches.
Both devices I put after the arrival of HAM aside, no longer used, and also do not miss it.
(The change was so far little-consuming than that stored in the "i-devices" files -eg books or PDFs- not so easy to transfer or copy left)
The offered directly after the start of the HAM Update I have done immediately.
The surface could be -Thanks the HAM-own "EmotionUI surface" - very simple "iOS-like" set up.
So the transition was easy by a ähliches look-and-feel.
Even otherwise EmotionUI offers a few nice features.
So you can let the Android buttons on the bottom of the screen disappear eg targeted to get a somewhat larger screen to enjoy for example videos.
With a "finger-wipe" from the bottom up, the control panel reappears.
Furthermore, you can group them into a folder its apps (by pushing 2 Apps successive), individually rename this.
It's impressive how good it is Huawei managed to create a synergy of Tablet and Phone.
If, like me, is used to make calls via Bluetooth headset plays the size of the HAM does not matter, because it stays in the pocket.
But to edit postings at HAM is not a problem because the display has an acceptable size for this.
However, I must admit that I for longer texts a small Bluetooth keyboard (20x8cm) enlisting as Entry is now a bit more comfortable.
The HAM is fast enough for my needs and very reliable.
The combination of hardware and software is well done and lead to a respectable interaction of both components.
The ability to transfer data from a USB storage device directly to the HAM via OTG cable, is also a very convenient option of high-speed data transfers.
The eingrichtete on the HAM Exchange account is working properly and is also very fast, because the optional subfolder in the e-mail account are available shortly after the call.
Insert also readily allows the HAM as a navigation device.
As software I use the app "MapFactor: GPS Navigation".
The GPS module is fast and accurate.
Screen and voice guidance synchronously and run absolutely smoothly.
The recalculation for a route deviation works very quickly.
Used as a navigation system, the large HAM display can fully exploit its advantage over smaller devices.
The only limitation that I could festellen far is that some apps will not run on the HAM.
The reason is probably that these apps can not clearly identify whether it is a tablet or a smartphone at HAM.
In the event there are probably problems with the -from the affected App identified screen size, leading to a crash (z. B. in the app "finanzblick").
The AnTuTu benchmark test brought my HAM 16,126 meters, the Quadrant test the HAM reached 5,196 points and is therefore at the level of the HTC One X.
About further technical details was already reviewed here enough.
The positive reviews found consistently my consent.
Conclusion:
The price-performance ratio is unbeatable in my view and the advantage only carry one device to "must" for me is a comfort that I do not want to miss.
I look forward to coming products from Huawei!
