Most:
* Dynamic excellent.
* Very good topography and spatial sound.
* The "neutral" and bright, very well balanced spectrally without using Home Theater audiophiles appreciate.
* Sound power more than enough! you do not go further than 50% in "normal" use headphones or HP
* No breath, no parasites.
* No audible distortion.
* Manual switching (presses on the volume knob) between helmet and HP: super convenient
* Setting the "master" volume by the button on top of the case.
* Separate settings (volume) of the helmet and HP through the driver.
* Dolby Home Theater 4 (though it will download from Asus: provided in the latest update to the driver)
* Zero problem with Windows 7 Pro SP1 x64 (but remember to completely shut down your PC after installing Hard and Soft, otherwise Home Theater is not working ... I have "struggled" for more than an hour because of this: j '... just had restarted)
* Its reasonable price: oh yes, less than 100, I find great because I placed nentends no difference with internal PCIe, 2 to 3 times more expensive, less practical / ergonomic! (I admit I was skeptical about the fact that this is a card "USB" and not PCIe: probably totally soared after connecting)
* For Gamers: impeccable virtualization. The sound? You will rediscover the sound environment of your games !!!
Cons: details ...
* The HP Analog Output is via a dual RCA while in IT it is 99.9% in stereo mini jack (???): think about buying a male dual RCA adapter / female stereo mini jack (strangely not supplied for the price ???)
* Front headphone and microphone connection: in my case, it's embarrassing (they would have been better placed on the right, for example, but hey, detail ...).
* Micro volume would have been better placed on the upper face of the housing (mini detail).
You'll understand: DARK !!!
Note: I have not found how to force the output on HP default at boot time (the output moves to "helmet" automatically). If you know the answer, I'm interested: THANK YOU.
