[1]. Applications and access settings:
To date, the application Android "QRS Mobile" which allows quick setting of 3 different modes (Router, AP / Repeater / Wifi Hotspot) does not work on Galaxy S4 (Android 4.3) but perfectly on a HTC One S (Android 4.1. 1) or a tablet Asus TF101 (Android 4.0.3).
This nest though not crippling Galaxy S4, even without this app you can quickly set the box through internet browsers (under Windows by entering the address bar; in Firefox / Chrome for Android (eg) when entering.) . There a ultra complete configuration interface (suitable for each mode) can do everything (this is less "user friendly" than lapp android, it takes a little zoom in / out, but much more complete)!

The USB port is self-powered, one can connect to: a USB key or USB portable hard drive (Note: The limitation on the USB portable disk capacity The power supply does not come from (i tested with WD Passport drives and 1TB 2TB), but obviously the hardware or software of the case (the access time are then endless or disc content is no longer scrutinized).

These are accessible via lapp android or via the Internet browser (windows) (see list of supported file formats). To switch of a mode to another (PA-Router / Repeater / Wifi Hotspot), it is a shame to have to disconnect and reconnect the housing (ditto for change storage media on the USB socket, no plug & play so), but this is done without loss of configuration (hopefully!).

Once disconnected, the case retains its last configuration in memory, but it is also possible to export the settings (conditions uap networks functions, locations, etc.) on file and then import them. Rather essential to a case brought to travel!
I do not fit in all possible settings (rights management to access, restrictions / filters, security, virtual server, logs, statistics, SSID (s), etc.), there are too many (*), but i tested 3 modes configuration "basic" and find nothing wrong, everything works.
