this camera is awesome!

I've been looking for a while to 'its really good digicam. Previously, I had the Sony Cybershot DSC-HX20VT in mind and they ordered me, but seen after the first image, the image quality for the price is miserable. In detail, everything was very washed out and the colors are not reality real. The Samsung WB850F contrast creates a stunning picture quality and not only when the sun shines. Even when focusing an object on my carpet is clearly evident in this still each individual fiber.

In the video function is working smoothly, the autofocus (AF) pretty good afterward. Only when you zoom the camera pans the delay of focus from time to time but that is completely within the tolerance. Even the background noise of the lens during the zoom in and out is not too strong and yet it is a bit disturbing. But a perfect device was never invented ...

The scene modes that can be selected are truly succeeded. Convinced myself even! A major criterion for me buying this camera is that it is equipped with time and shutter priority, I've always missed in my previous camera was. Now it is finally possible to photograph not be waterfalls as a still image, but as a picture with floating effect.
Whether the macro function is as good as in my zuvorigen camera (Olympus SP-560 UZ) is still out put. It was possible for me after a long adjustment work and related patient in the winter to photograph snowflakes in detail, I hope it works with the Samsung as well.

I would like to say that I found this wonderful camera by accident and I am very happy to have the other sent back again.
