(1) The tablet has the right size for use both in the living room as the bed
(2) The user interface is quite intuitive.
On the negative side:
(1) It is very unreliable. Either the device hangs completely and must do a hard reset to reboot - and after reconfiguration because he lost all his configuration to reset. Either it's the applications that are planted loop start and we must squarely stop and restart the device (aheurissant enough, the application to report errors still plant). Either the Wifi connection is lost when you watch a film, even when you are sitting way of talking about wifi router. None of my other devices (computers, iPhone, iPad) has Wifi problems. These problems are not related to a particular application but across the board, which makes me think of bugs in a driver or the same operating system.
(2) Battery life on standby is pretty pathetic, certainly compared to the iPad. Must say that it's better if automatic sync is removed and email notifications, but even when it is not used, we still charge interest of the tablet every night.
(3) The security is not top: we can not restrict access to specific applications have to hire services, SMS, contacts, etc. It was only the option not to install an application - if it is not already pre-installed (see point 4). This is obviously not a problem but a Samsung Android problem.
(4) It comes with a lot of "crapware" - applications we do not want but which run in the background and you can not remove. When we are shutting them they are restarted automatically or when you restart the device - what is often done because of instability problems - or after a few seconds or minutes.
Conclusion: Purchase this product only if you know computer and you do not hesitate to grope under the hood. Otherwise opt for an iPad.
