The LH63C for the EF-S 1: 3.5-5.6 / 18-55mm IS STM mounts correctly 1/4 turn, but holds it in place is "light", small plastic parts that hold it are too loose, there is a risk of losing because there is not really maintained (too easily unscrews) ... damage.
For the LH63 for EF-S 4-5.6 / 55-250mm IS STM, no worries it is fixed properly and has a good hold in place, it was not afraid of losing.
The assembly upside down on the goals when you do not use is okay, with, of course, the same remark as above.
EDIT: to overcome the lack of holding the LH63C for 18-55mm IS STM I stuck to glue small plastic parts stand to set them up in support to the center of the cache, so that they have more support when mounted cache on the goal: it improves handling.
