Apple iPod - a mark question ...?

There are relatively few brands whose product reviews so emotionally influenced positive +, negative results as with Apple. That reminds me of any Markenfanatismus is strange, I have let give a discarded NanoII years ago, the holiday - despite me originally proscribed MP3 compression format - served well. After initial skepticism, I had come to the conclusion that MP3 music in 256 kbit on a mediocre hifi inaudible worse than CD / CD-Audio formats. The result: transfer of the entire CD collection to MP3 desired. Implementation of managed capacity and organizational reasons, the easiest iPod Classic 160GB and the fact is after 2 months of intensive use.

o Software iTunes (here Vers. 10.0) principle (including some little quirks, just in which MP3 player software, there is not?) in power and handling perfectly OK, but the flaws can be fixed by third-party software almost entirely
o Price well - satisfactory (depends on future product shelf life!)
o Film & Photo function (not used, therefore, not rated)
o HDD access speed to good, satisfactory at high data utilization
o HDD noise quietly, in some situations at soft music nevertheless briefly audible
o for athletes by the HDD rather unsuitable, MP3 player with flash memory are much smaller and less problematic from the storage technology in movement (I use here the completely unproblematic ipod nano 2nd with 4 GB and clickwheel)

Negative
- No AC adapter attached standard
- Battery replacement by the user hardly possible as the HDD exchange
- No detailed instruction manual for the device, even worse, this is the software (software limitations you can only get through the time-consuming "learning by doing" out)
- Certain (free) services are limited only by the registration in the AppleStore available (buy there anyway nix)
- Apple AAC format sound own especially in 320 kbit Top! - But not compatible with all devices, so I use the MP3 standard format in 128 kbit (audiobooks) or 256/320 kbit (Music)
- Display and rear quite scratch sensitive (protection recommended!)
- Standard earphones of moderate sound quality (use only Koss Porta Pro + Ultrasone Zino)
- An internal Micro to own conversation recording would have been great

Conclusion: - objectively speaking - best in this capacity Get a Quote. With iTunes you should employ a little closer to fully unlock it when necessary or to bypass obstacles by complementary third-party software. The most important thing I have, however, achieved by the iPod Classic: I enjoy listening to music again and if I would like to meet a specific album / song, so it is quickly ready without costly search. However, the two players are the only Apple devices remain with me, buying a ipad / iphone od. Macbook is definitely not planned (in these segments I prefer "non-Apple Products").
