The camcorder is relatively compact and can therefore be well taken. Larger devices rather stay home and be used only in the own 4 walls, but the effort because you always shy take the thick thing.
Is also very convenient that the camcorder is quickly ready for use, you have to show no display, no lens cap and remove the initiation (startup) is also surprising. Only the Start button and the unit will start in a few seconds in the last set mode (movie with the corresponding resolution or in the photo function). I think the quality of the private non-professional use for more than adequate. Especially in bright light you can watch movies in good quality create. The following applies as suspected darker the environment the worse. But even at dusk, you can record even more people in the room and subsequently recognized in the film. By Waterproof property can protect the device even safe to take to the beach or other outdoor activities. In addition, I think it's good that the SD memory card can be replaced at will. As a small mango can I find the shape of the device, it is indeed good in your hand, but can not be placed as the FlipUltraHD times briefly in one place (ie, the unit is no tripod not alone on the table). With the Photo function you can even take a snapshot, the quality of the photos will not approach the quality of today's digital cameras. A little problem it's a movie editing program to see the films can edit in H.264 format. Often this stutter in cutting mode really bad, are offset in time or they work only when corresponding extra course paid apps this herunterläd. Otherwise, the H.264 format has the advantage of being able to put a lot of film with relatively little memory requirement on the hard disk.
What distinguishes the Palysport particularly from:
- Compact waterproof housing
- Replaceable battery
- Interchangeable SDHC
- Provides in this camcorder category with the best results
- High resolution and refresh rate
My conclusion is clear, however, I would buy the camcorder again today.
I have in the meantime been tested some more camcorders like JVC GC-FM1AEU; Panasonic HM-TA1, ... and all I can say that none of these Pocketcams approached qualitatively to the Kodak Zx3. Just a pity that Kodak is no longer active in this area :-(
What more could you want from a Pocket else cam:
- Housing form which can be placed standing on the table
- Even smaller housing
- A remote control
- A real night film property
- Better wide-angle lens
