The HDMI adapter fits perfectly into the tablet, like any plug also. The 1080p playback I could not test, but it should work. Now, the adapter does exactly what he should, he presents the image on the Galaxy Tab (10.1 / 8.9) via HDMI there, and also in quite good quality.

But on the adapter is a second connection as it can be found on the Galaxy Tab. Only if there the charging cable of the tablets is plugged because he represents the image, otherwise nothing happens. I can not imagine for a presentation or a similar to the socket and to be simultaneously attached to the projector. Therefore, the adapter is only partly useful.

From me there is no recommendation to buy, unless you really use the tablet much as "stationary" Video Player.
